Our Organization
The Angel Investor Forum is an organization located in Connecticut (CT) comprised of sophisticated, accredited investors1, who are former CEOs, VCs, serial entrepreneurs, and active private equity investors. AIF is not a fund. Investment members collaborate on due diligence, but make individual investment decisions (under common valuation and terms). Because members are accredited investors, they understand the risk, complexity, and illiquid aspects of private equity investing. As a group we are well connected to potential customers, service providers, partners and future sources of financing.
Our Goal
Our main goal is to help entrepreneurs build successful companies and thereby achieve excellent returns on AIF members' invested capital.
Our Mission
The Angel Investor Forum provides accredited investors with the chance to pool their resources to fund seed-stage opportunities with the particular focus in Connecticut and the Northeast area.
1To be accredited, an investor must have a net worth of over $1 million or an income over the past two years of over $200K per year.
